Internal Status Markers
This is new functionality. Internal Status Markers can be set to keep a running history of certain marker points in the execution of a PET. If you set it up in the SAU setup section, emails can be entered for notifications as these markers are hit. A complete history is kept of the markers, their dates and who set them. Administrators can monitor all status markers on all PETs.

A practical application of the status markers is as follows: When a certain report is ready to print for a PET, the case manager can set a status marker "Ready to Print" and detail which report in the message section. An email is sent to each person on the SAU list alerting them to this status marker. Perhaps a front office person is on this list. They can then log in and view the status marker. From there, they can either print off the report, or set a status marker of printed. Or alternatively, they can set a status marker "Change Request" and detail what additional work needs to be done. An email is sent to the case manager when a Change request is sent.

There is also a summary of status markers in the calendars and summaries menu. This is set up so you can glimpse the latest statuses of each PET without having to look at each student individually.
